1. Platform Ownership

The Code to Success platform, including its curriculum, educational content, interface, tutorial system, facilitator tools, and all platform infrastructure (collectively, “the Platform”), is owned exclusively by Code to Success and its operators. The Platform is protected by copyright and all related intellectual property laws.

The simulated GitHub, Vercel, and Supabase environments provided within the Platform are educational mockups created for instructional purposes. They are proprietary components of the Platform and do not represent affiliation with GitHub, Inc., Vercel, Inc., or Supabase, Inc.

2. Participant Code Ownership

Code written by program participants during sessions — specifically the MOMENTUM application source code — belongs to the participant who wrote it. Upon program completion, participants receive a complete copy of their source code as a downloadable ZIP file.

The Platform retains no ongoing rights to participant-created code once it has been distributed to the participant at program completion.

3. Educational Purpose

This platform is provided solely for educational purposes as part of the Code to Success program. Access is restricted to enrolled program participants and authorized facilitators. Unauthorized access is prohibited.

4. Participant Accounts

Participant accounts are identified by code numbers, not real names, to protect participant privacy. Real names are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized facilitators. Participants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password.

5. Data and Privacy

Data collected by the Platform is used solely to operate the educational program. No participant data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for commercial purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable Use

Participants agree to use the Platform only for its intended educational purpose. Attempting to access other participants' data, circumvent security measures, or misuse the Platform in any way is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the program.

7. No Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” for educational use. We make reasonable efforts to ensure availability and data integrity but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
