Your Privacy Matters
Code to Success is designed with privacy first. Because this program serves justice-involved youth, we take extraordinary care with all personal information. Your real name is never displayed in the platform — only your participant code number.
Information We Collect
Participant code number
Used to identify your account. Visible in the platform interface.
Real name
Stored securely. Only accessible by authorized facilitators. Never displayed to other participants.
Password (hashed)
Stored as a secure one-way hash. We cannot read your actual password.
Login activity
Login timestamps used for program attendance tracking by facilitators.
Project code
Your MOMENTUM app source code. Stored for program purposes and returned to you at completion.
How We Store Your Data
Your data is stored in two places:
1. Your Device (IndexedDB)
Your work is saved locally on your computer using browser storage (IndexedDB). This enables the platform to work offline. This data stays on your device.
2. Our Server (Supabase)
When connected to the internet, data is synced to our self-hosted database on a private server. This server is controlled exclusively by the program operator — no third-party cloud companies have access to your data.
How We Do Not Use Your Data

- ✗We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law.
- ✗We do not use your data for any purpose outside this educational program.
- ✗We do not store your real name anywhere accessible to other participants.
Session Security
Login sessions automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Session tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies that cannot be read by scripts on the page. When you log out, your session is immediately invalidated on the server.
Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your account data. Your code (the MOMENTUM app you build) will be provided to you at program completion and belongs to you. Contact your facilitator with any privacy questions or requests.
